My dear Miss Huntington:
After the most delightful chat with you over the
telephone, I hasten to write you briefly about the little book
your sister Annie Oakes Huntington wrote about Poison Ivy and
Swamp Sumac. I should like your permission to reproduce, for
teaching purposes, the photographs in your sister s book.
If you have a copy which you would like to prevent
to Tufts College Medical School where I am Pfofessor of
Dermatology or to the Boston City Hospital where I am chief
for diseases of the skin, I should receive it with the greatest
of pleasure, particularly if you inscribed it to me.
