DEAR SIS:-
We have the old "War Horse" anchored
again, but only for the week-end. She's
a pretty busy old plug these days and
next week she goes out to show the rest
of those "Sea-plugs" how to snort and
make it count. Why, even this week
some of the Anti-aircraft crews made
$30 and $75 in less time than it takes
to tell it. It is a good thing they didn't
have to patch those targets though be-
cause they would have more than earned
their money.
Sure wish you could see our ball team
in action, sis They are really putting the
Texas on the map this season. They
play the New Mexico to-day. Last Sun-
day they made the "Iron Man" boys from
the Tennessee feel like tin soldiers with
a scare of 12 to 2. What a game!
You know, something has had ie
stumped for a long time. I cannot under-
stand why it is, with liberties as good as
they are here a Norfoik, that tIe c rs
k cep harping about getting back to good
old "Pedro." It must be that they misc
the fish, the cii, (both in the air) and the
Pike.
