fine reputation your Company enjoys for the quality of product, service to our
patrons and business integrity, will be maintained with even more vigor in 1955.
We will continue, with the brand preference we enjoy, to make unrelenting
efforts to secure a profitable share of the available sugar business. During this
period of intense competition, we are fortunate to have one of the most modern
cane sugar refineries in the country, and equally important, we have an extremely
loyal and efficient personnel. We find that the installation of the air-conditioned
Sugar Packing House, the very first in this country, has been a very wise invest-
ment, both from the standpoint of physical comfort and employee relationship.
The cellophane wrap on our one-pound brown sugar carton has practically
guaranteed fresh sugar to our customers, and has increased its acceptance. Last,
but not least, the change in design on our containers is in keeping with the
progress of a forward looking sales program.
In closing I take pleasure in again commending to our Stockholders the
loyalty, efficiency, and diligence of all our employees.
Respectfully submitted,
W. H. LOUVIERE
President
