teachers have been employed
except a public .school music
teacher and so far it has been

may call at his office for the

An agent of the state employ-
ment commission will come to
Ballinger to open an office Sep-
tember 6 and will give all assist-
ance possible to farmers of this
county.
Farmers who have worked crews
In previous years are advised to
get in touch with them and try to
bring them back this year. It is
also suggested that Improvement
of living quarters on farms will
make It easier to get good crews.
Mr. Barton has the addresses of
many crews In his office and will
be glad to provide these to any-
one who would like to make con-
tact with the workers He pointed
out that tht. county has a good
reputation among the workers,
who have found the farmers
pleasant to work for. the mer-
chants anxious for their trade,
and law enforcement officers fair
in their dealings.
There are three labor camps In
the county where crews can be
received and housed while they
are making arrangements for
Jobs. The Ballinger camp needs
some improvements, especially
water connections for shower
baths.
Mr. Barton said farmers should
make their labor needs known as
quickly as possible in order to
