Funeral services were held at the

Mrs. Mclnnes was one of the most
; olorful of the pioneer women of this
section. She served as Postmistress
for many years at Artesia Wells, and
was very active in church and civic
affairs.
Her life was full of rich and inter-
< sting experiences, which were typi-
cal to the frontier women of her da.'.
She was an outstanding Christian
woman, and contributed largely, to
the early growth of La Salle County.
