“Probation After Death” is the
subject of the Lesson-Sermon which
will be read in all Churches of
Christ, Scientist, on Sunday, April
24.
The Golden Text is: “The Lord
will perfect that which concerneth
me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth
for ever” (Psalms 138:8).
Among the citations which com-
prise the Lesson-Sermon is the fol-
lowing from the Bible: “He that
followeth after righteousness and
mercy findeth life, righteousness,
and honour” (Proverbs 21:21).
The Lesson-Sermon also includes
the following passage from the
Christian Science textbook, “Scien-
ce and Health with Key to the
Scriptures” by Mary Baker Eddy:
“The true sense of being and its
eternal perfection should appear
now, even as it will hereafter”
(page 550).
