member of the Milts County
United Fund it the Little
League Association. This
past season saw 14 tdams
with 140 young people from
the county taking part.
Thirty-five parents and ether
adults work with this group
of youth.
This activity ia an asset to
the community as well as to
the participants by providing
a wholesome sports activity.
The 1978 United Fund
allocated* 8938.44 to this
project.
The mogies received were
used for the purchase of
equipment, such as bats,
catching equipment, and
caps. Part of the coat of the
utilities was also covered by
this amount. The field is
located on the Old Priddy
Road.
