Yule Party Set
The Catholic Altar Society
held a regular meeting Tuesday,
November 10 at 3:00 p.m. in
the Catholic Parish Gym with
the president Mrs. Joe Michna
offering the opening prayer.
Secretary Mrs. Jerry Mikes
called the roll to which a large
number responded. She read the
minutes of the previous meet-
ing which were approved as
read. Treasurer Mrs. Frank
Winkler gave a good financial
report.
There were no bills and no
communications. Three cheer
cards were sent.
Mrs. Annie Siegel is a new
member of the society.
A Christmas party was dis-
cussed and was decided that it
be held December 8 at 7:00 p.m.
Instead of exchanging gifts,
the members offered to each
bring a gift for the Holy Fa-
ther’s Storeroom.
A lunch will be served and a
social hour will follow.
Father John Hanacek closed
the meeting with a prayer after
which lunch was served and a
social hour enjoyed.
