held at 2 p m, Thursday. Jan 13,
2000 in the Smyer First Baptist
Church with Rev E G. Lambnght
and Re\ Bill Oliver officiating
Burial followed in the Resthaven
Memorial Park under the direction
of Resthaven Funeral Home
He died on Tuesday, Jan 11,
2000 in Covenant-Lakeside
Hospital
He was bom on September 17,
1913 in Sayer, OK He served in the
US. Army during WW1I He
married the former Inetha Wynn on
January 23, 1937 in Lubbock He
retired in 1973 from the Santa Fe
Railroad with 32 years of service.
He was a member of the Smyer’s
First Baptist Church and had been a
resident of Smyer since 1931
He is survived by his wife, a
son, Weston Terry of Lubbock; a
daughter. Rita Zoe Neal of Smyer;
a brother, Hollis Terry of Odessa; a
sister, Dorothy Clark of Tahoka; 3
grandchildren;

mother. Irma Dee Palmer of
Lubbock; a brother, William Moms
Rossiter II of Battle Mountain, AZ;
3 sisters: Joan Baumann and Madge
Hill, both of Lubbock and Janet
