1. The week’s games are numbered 1 through 20 and are listed in the
advertisements on these pages. Find the games and write your
predicted winner opposite the appropriate number on the entry
blank on this page.
2. A tie-breaker game is listed at the bottom of the entry blank. Fill
in your estimate of the TOTAL SCORE in the tie breaker.
3. There is no entry fee and everyone is eligible except employees of
the Levelland News-Press.
4. Contestants must be at least 10 years of age.
5. Contestants may enter ONLY one time per week. NOTE:
Contestants must submit either an official News-Press entry form or
a machine copy of the News-Press entry form. No other types of
entry forms, such as scratch pad paper, notebook paper or
computer printout sheets will be admissible.
6. Entries may be mailed or placed in the box provided in the
Levelland News-Press office. Entries must be postmarked or
received by the News-Press office before 5 p.m. on the Friday
preceding the games,
7. Contestants who fail to fill in the tie-breaker will not be eligible fa
prizes in thoevent of a tie.
8. In the event that one or more games are cancelled or postponed,
winners will be determined from the remaining games actually
played.
9. Each week’s winners will be published in the Wednesday edition of
the Levelland News-Press. Prizes will be awarded weekly with
records being maintained to determine the end of the season
winner.
