house, County Clerk Mary Walker
showed students the 286m District
Courtroom and briefed them on its
operation.
Walker also told students about
the many services that are available
through different offices at the
courthouse.
Doris Baker, county librarian,

county’s history and the background
of the outside mosaic.
The youngsters also toured the
Levelland Police Department and
met with SgL Joe McDowell.
In a stopover at the Levelland
EMS, the students inspected ambu-
lulances and were given an emer-
gency demonstration by paramedics
and emergencymedicaltechniciam.
Jonathan Ledbetter volunteered
and was used for a safety demon-
stration.
