Claim Adjuster from Lubbock. The Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Company pays the local
Fire Department $75.00 for each rural call they make a property insured by Farm Bureau.
The purpose of this program is to aid the Volunteer Fire Departments over the State of
Texas in doing a better job of controlling rural fires on farm property. This is a state-
wide program that was initiated last year by the Texas Farm Bureau. The use of this
money is left to the discretion of the inditHdual Fire Departments. This is a part of Farm
Bureau's overall Farm Safety and Fire Prevention Program for the state. This is one of
the many beneficial programs instituted by Farm Bureau to help raise the standard of

Dean Morgan, In Lubbock, for
the past several days.
Dean recently underwent
brain surgery and Is considered
