of Thomas McCaughn on August
1, 1998 in a 7 p.m. ceremony at
Second Baptist Church of Bridge
City.
The bride is the daughter of
William and Melinda Moye of
Bridge City.
The bridegroom is the son of
Thomas and Paula McCaughn of
Mauriceville.
Attending the bride as matron of
honor was Kande Windham
Powell. Melissa Arnaud was
bridesmaid.
Sean Dailey served as best man
with Shane Gray, groomsman.
The bride is a 1990 graduate of
Bridge City High School. She holds a bachelor's degree in Biology from
Ouachita Baptist University. She is employed by Health South
Rehabilitation Hospital.
The groom is a 1987 graduate of Little Cypress-Mauriceville High
School. He attended community college while enlisted in the U.S. Air
Force. He is employed by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
Following their honeymoon in Cancun. the couple will make their home
in Bridge City.

Mackenzie Rechelle Harper was born July 12, 1998 at Kingwood
Columbia Medical Center, Kingwood. Texas.
She weighed 6 pounds. 1 ounce and was 19 1/2 inches long.
Mackenzie's parents are Scott and Cheryl Harper of Atascocita.
Grandparents are Charles and Bonnie Collins of Wildwood and Betty
Harper of Bridge City. Great-grandparents are Laura Bell of Beaumont
and Fonita Greer of Milam.

Leta Ferguson
June 20, 1926-July 25, 1998
Leta Noel Ferguson, 72, of 913 Geney St, Brenham, Teat, died in a
Houston hospital July 25. She was the wife of the Rev. E. Glynn
Ferguson, former pastor of St Paul United Methodist Church of Bridge
City. Survivors include her husband, their son, Robert Earl Ferguson of
Dallas, their daughter, Tena Darlene Hernandez of Brenham, and their
grandson. James Lehman Powell, ID.
Memorials may be sent to the building fund of Chappell Hill United
Methodist Church where Rev. Ferguson is now pastor, P.O. Box 285,
Chappell Hill, TX 77426.
