Ray Schultz Brings
School Program to
Local Lions Tuesday
Superintendent Ray Schultz of
White Deer - Skellytown Schools
brought a very informative mess-
age to the White Deer Lions Club
on education, in particular as re-
gards the White Deer School sys-
tem and in general as regards
the American public schools.
Mr. Schultz told of the progress
that has been made in the White
Deer School System and of those
areas where progress needs to be
made.
Mr. Schultz praised the fine
science laboratory that had been
added to the White Deer and
Skellytown Elementary Schools.
He spoke of the high regard for
the White Deer schools held by
educators over the state. He also
reminded the local Lions that they
and all local citizens had done
much to provide a fine school and
that the White Deer-Skellytown
Schools had been blessed with
school board members of the
highest type who have given of
their time unselfishly.

ed the club’s newest member,
Lion George Gantt, with a kit
which covers the entire field of
Lionism. Lion Virgil James was
