velop an application to the
Texas Department of Agricul-
ture for the 2017 Texas Capital
Fund Program for eligible activit-
ies associated to the Texas
Community Development Block
Grant Program. Accordingly, the
City of Mathis is separately soli-
citing (A) proposals from Admin-
istrative Consultants for Applica-
tion Preparation and Project Ad-
ministration and (B) qualifica-
tions from Texas-Registered En-
gineers to provide engineering
services associated to Applica-
tion Preparation and Project Im-
plementation. Firms and/or indi-
viduals should have past experi-
ence with federally funded pro-
grams. Please submit a propos-
al of services and/or a state-
ment of qualifications to:

shall be received by the City of
Mathis no later than 3:00 pm on

or firms that submit proposals,
as per the Texas Professional

TEXAS CAPITAL FUND
City of Mathis will hold a public
hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Decem-
ber 12, 2016, at City Council
Chambers, 114 East San Patri-
cio Avenue regarding the sub-
mission of an application to the
Texas Department of Agricul-
ture for a TXCDBG -Texas Cap-
ital Fund grant. The purpose of
this meeting is to allow citizens
an opportunity to discuss the cit-
izen participation plan, the de-
velopment of local housing and
community development needs,
the amount ofTxCDBG funding
available, all eligible TxCDBG
activities, and the use of past
TxCDBG funds. The City en-
courages citizens to participate
in the development of this Tx-
CDBG application and to make
their views known at this public
hearing. Citizens unable to at-
tend this meeting may submit
their views and proposals to
(Doug Dowler), Mathis EDC Ex-
ecutive Director at the City Hall.
Persons with disabilities that
wish to attend this meeting
should contact the City Hall to
arrange for assistance. Individu-
