Melissa Jo Terry and
Julious LeRoy Morris were
united in marriage March
12, 1983, at 3 p. m. at
Sacred Heart Catholic
Church of White Deer with
Father Peter Otto officiating.
1'he bride and groom
were both attired in white.
The maid of honor, Kim-
ette Wrigley wore a floor-
length gown of burgundy.
The bridesmaid, Lois
Robertson, sister of the
bride, wore an identical
gown of mauve. The best
man, Randy Hastings, and
the groomsman, Tim Has-
tings, both brothers of the
bride, were attired in white
tuxedos with burgundy ties
and cummerbunds. The
ring bearer, Scott Hastings,
nephew of the bride wore
a white tuxedo and attend-
ed the flower girl, Chrystal
Skaggs, niece of the groom
who wore a street-length
pink dress.
As the bride came down
the isle, attended by A.L.
Terry of Amarillo and A.H.
Robertson of White Deer,
her train was carried by
Kim Morris, sister of the
groom and Stephen Marcum,
nephew of the bride.
Edward Hastings, brother
of the bride, sang "The
Wedding Song" accompan-
ied by Carolyn Rapstine,
organist.
Scrolls were presented to
the guests as they were
registered by Kristy Bovino.
Guests were seated by
Bill Wrigley and Mark
Morris, brother of the
groom.
The guest attended the
reception held at the par-
rish hall where they enjoy-
ed refreshments and the
music of the band, "West-
wind" of Amarillo.
The bride's table was
decorated with a pink
cloth over-laid with a
crocheted cloth. The cake
was a three-tiered heart
decorated with burgundy

The centerpiece was bur-
gundy and pink silk flowers
with lighted burgundy and

dlesticks. Burgundy punch,
nuts, and homemade mints
in the bride's chosen colors
completed the table.
The grooms' table held
a large chocolate cake
decorated in pink with
doves, bells, hearts and
wedding rings and a silver
coffee service.

The couple spent their
honeymoon in Amarillo
and returned to make
their home in White Deer.

Women met at the church
Tuesday, March 22 at 10:30
a.m. for a program and
luncheon.
Mrs. Shirley Greene, Pres-
ident of U. M. W., opened
the meeting by giving the
devotional and prayer. She
also conducted a short bus-
ienss meeting then turned
the meeting over to Rev.
Jeff Taylor, pastor from
Groom, who led the group
in singing, before singing
songs of his own composi-
tion, accompanying him-
self on the guitar.
The Rev. Bob Green of
Dalhart brought the mess-
age. Pastors Green and
Taylor conducted a preach-
ing mission at the church
following the program.
The group met in Fellow-
ship Hall for the luncheon
with Mrs. Ruth Brooks and
Mrs. Jo Lynn Watson as
hostesses.
Present, in addition to
those previously mentioned
were: Rev. and Mrs. Ivan
Allen, Carol Satterwhite of
Kellerville, Alice Branson,
Arrena Powers, Lois Hughes,
Maxine Parsley, Jodie Mc-

end guests, Loretta Shel-

here to attend the Easter
Pageant in which Ashley
was a contestant.

Second Annual Easter
Pageant, sponsored by
Phi Epsilon Beta on Sat-
urday, March 26, 1983,
at the M. K. Brown Aud-
itorium were:

won first place in the four
year old division. She is
the granddaughter of Edrie
Baldridge of White Deer.
