so many of the things God has
in store for us because we are
to involved in other things or
just to lazy to put forth the ef-
fort.
Let’s all try to do more "ask-
ing","seeking" and "knocking"
for God and our homes and
community will become an even
greater place to live in.

Matthew 7:7 says "Ask and
it shell be given you; seek, and
ye shall find; knock and it shall
be opened unto you."
First we are told to "Ask.
This isn't such a hard task. We
all seem to constantly be ask-
ing. Then it says "it shall be
given you'. When we were
children and asked for some-
thing our parents would give it
to us if possible. How much
more does our Heavenly Father
want us to ask. He has so many
wonderful things for us than just
earthly treasures. He gave us
life eternal for the asking when
he gave his only Son Jesus for
our sins. Next Jesus says seek.
Every one of us at one time or
another has lost or misplaced
something and had to "seek"
for a long time to find the art-
icle we wanted, but eventually
it turned up. How much more
we need to "seek" the spiritual
things God has for us to find.
Oh, how wonderful when we
"seek" and find one of God's
wonderful treasures. How much
it enriches our lives!
"Knock"! When you go to
someone's house to visit you
don't just stand around hope-
ing maybe they 'll see you or
know you are there, you knock.
If they are home you get an
answer^ God is never away from
home. How much more he a-
waits our knock so he can open
the door and give us his wonder-
ful treasures. We miss- out on
