LETTERS™™EDITOR
Dear Mr. Miller,
Please express our appreciation
to the Citizens of White Deer
for the splendid cooperation,
attendance and support given
the Carson County Square
Museum during its Museum
Day affairs.
The butter and homemade
jelly, the participation by the
honor students of White Deer
High School is sincerely
appreciated.
We had the largest crowd,
the best barbecue and the most
outstanding program we have
had in the twenty years of
Pioneer Day and the twelve
years of the Museum.
The Niedringhaus family of
Seattle and of Los Angeles
were especailly interested in
the N-N headquarters house
at White Deer and appreciative
of the time given to them by
Mrs. George Coffee. They
epressed deep regret that the
large N-N Cattle Drive mar-
ker just East of White Deer
had been stolen. We have
written the State but discovered
that no funds were available
to replace stolen or vandalized
State markers. However, it
was pointed out that a fine of
I not less than $10, 000. 00 was
accessed for such theft or vand-
alism of these state owned
markers. It is the hope of the
Carson County Historical
Commission that funds may be
secured during the next year
to replace that valuable
historical marker. It told so
much of the history of this
area and of White Deer citizens.
The Board of Trustees join
me in thanking you for the
excellent publicity you gave
the day and the events cent-
ering around the Governor's
visit.
“Lei Us Continue Tq Serve You”
CARD OFIHANKS
The Carson County Square
House Board of Trustees express
their sincere appreciation for
the wonderful cooperation of the
citizens of White Deer in making
this the most successful event
in the museum history.

RALLY
(continued from page 1)
from all parts of the nation
come to be in attendance at
the two rallies.
1 The rallies were conducted
under an old-fashioned circus
tent to dramatize the need for
an old-fashioned revival for
America.
The Revive America Crusade
rallies are dedicated to hit the
burning issues of greatest con-
cern confronting our nation
today. These issues include
atheistic trends, cleaner
programs on TV, voluntary
prayer and Bible reading restored
in our public schools, child
porno and molesting, and
homosexuality.
Anita Bryant, also scheduled
to appear in person in support
of the rally, is well knovzn
for her successful campaign
in Dade County, Flordia, over
the issue of militant homosex-
ulas being able to teach in
private religious schools and
use their positions as an opp-
ortunity to recruit young people
to their homosexual lifestyle.
Anita will sing, perform and
share her personal thoughts and
testimony at the giant rally.
The Good Twins and Russ
Martin will also appear on the
program.
Cecil Todd will speak on the
theme, Revive America Again. "
Many of the churches and
their pastors from throughout
the area have indicated their
desire to participate in this
crusade for Bible morality and
Christian righteousness.
The service is nondenominat-
ional and there will be no
'admission charge. Similar
rallies are being scheduled in
Kansas City, Topeka, Wichita,
South Bend, Kokomo, Wasbash,
Indiana, and Lima, Ohio.
