Nine-Tenths Preventable
Nine-tenths of all the diseases of the
American people can be traced directly
to constipation, doctors say. Constipa-

which taint and weaken every organ
of the body and make them easy

them. Prevent constipation and you
will avoid nine-tenths of 'all diseases,

WASHINGTON^. May .31,
The twin moifsters of political apathy
and popular indifference which have
menaced Porto Rican well-being in
recent years were attacked from front,
rear, and all flanks by Governor Theo-

Complex social and economic prob-

population density of approximately
400 per square mile have been explain-

While forecasting a bright future for

the governor has publicly said:
"Porto Rico is an island 100 miles
long by 35 miles broad. We have a
population of 1,543.000 American citi-

the combined population of Vermont,
