point. Because the management has
secured, what is believed to- be one
of the most unusual films shown in
this city in sohie time. It is “Free
to Love" and its producer is B. P.
Schulberg who has given to the
screen suth other production as “The
Breath of Scandal," “The Triflers,"
"White Man," “The Boomerang”
and "Capital Punishment."
They Were all productions of mer-
it that Schulberg gave to the motion
picture lovers of this country. But
of them all ‘Free to Love” promises
to stand out as the supreme handi-
work. It is colorful and romantic,
yet it includes as fine a moral as
ever’ was preached on stage, screen
or pulpit and withal it is meto-dra-
matic enough to give it plenty of ac-
tion from start to finish.

deepest pathos. It has the human
touch that appeals most strongly and
accounts for its phenomenal success
ail over the country. That Brenham
audiences appreciate this class of at-
tractions was amply proven by the
record-breaking attendance, and the
outbursts of laughter and vigorous
applause that greeted the players.
“Abie's. Irish Rose" also teaches a
beautiful lesson of love and tolerance
which might well be taken to heart
by Catholic and Protestant, Jew and
Gentile. It is ven worth-while en-

leaves the theater with a kindlier
feeling for all humanity. -
