at the scene by County Judge

Colorado City.
Moving behind center,
Hemphill performed like a
seasoned veteran, hitting 6
of 10 passes for 83 yards.
He also finished with 214
yards rushing from two differ-
ent positions and three
scores. And when you add
the fact that he also took a
kickoff back 77 yards for a
touchdown to give him 423
all-purpose yards and four
touchdowns, his selection as
our Big Country Player of the
Week was relatively simple.
“Jaquan stepped in and
played quarterback for us
and we didn’t miss a beat,”
Coleman coach Brad Ballard
said. “He threw the ball well
good decisions.”
He also did a number on
Colorado City from his spot in
the Coleman secondary,
picking off a pass, forcing a
fumble and gathering eight
tackles.
The Bluecats (5-5) will
square off with Crane (9-1) in
the bi-district round of the
Class 2A Dll playoffs on
Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Snyder.

more importantly - each other.
Where Dreams Die Hard is a
