second annual girls
basketball camp this
summer from June 15 -20.
Cherri Rapp, women’s
head coach at A&M and Jane
Rosenkrans, the new
assistant coach at UCLA,
will head this years staff
which will include pro

"It is a week of lots of
basketball,” said Rapp
"The girls will receive a
great deal of individual
instruction and they will
have a chance to learn basic
fundamentals necessary to
become an outstandiing
basketball player

girls 10 years of age or above

to San Antonio to the Fiesta
Dinner Playhouse Everyone
had a great time seeing the
play "Murder at the Howard

The Club had its May
business meeting the next
night, Monday, May 19 at the
Homemaking Department
The program for May will be
a special one on Monday
night. May 26 At that time
Callan Oltmann will give the
members a three hour
course on Cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation. Several
model dolls will be available
to practice CPR techniques.
On Wednesday night, May
28th the Young Homemakers
will be having their own
annual family picnic at
Peggy Hillje’s starting at 7
p m Everyone will bring
supper to eat for a fun family
and friends club outing.

meeting the club elected new

contest in Poteet last week
and three of them brought
back medals.
Lee Rocha was third in the
fly-weight division, Smokey-
Johnson was second as a

heavyweight.

discover that they forgot to
pack their matches and had
to borrow from the Scout-
