club for senior citizens, sponsored
by St. John's United Methodist
Church, will meet from 1:30 to 4
p.m. each Wednesday at the
church, located at 501S. Alexan-
der Drive, for an afternoon of
games. Refreshments will be
served, and prizes will be award-

Study Club — The '39 Study
Club will meet at 2:30 p.m. in the
home of Martha Moore. Well-
known book reviewer Mary Brown,
will present a book review. Presi-

RSS Boosters—The Sterling
High School Baseball Booster
Club, in conjunction with the Lady
Rangers Softball Booster Club, will
hold the inaugural “Diamond
Revue" at 6 p.m. in the school’s
auditorium. Teams and coaches
will be introduced, and the band,
cheerleaders, choir and a guest
speaker will be included in the
program. Roster books/media
guides will be sold, as well.
Admission is $1 at the door, and
refreshments will be served after-
wards in the commons.
