Friday, Gary and Deborah Hickox’s two-year-old son, Jacob, was
bitten by a dog at their Crow Hat ranch. Deborah took Jacob to the
hospital in Carlsbad. The dog bit him on the face. The bite tore the
muscle and he had to have stitches both inside and outside of his lip
and cheek. They spent the night in the hospital and came home to
Crow Hat Saturday. Gary
was in Oklahoma when he heard
about the accident and he and
his mother, Evelyn Hickox,
came as soon as they could.
They got to Carlsbad Saturday

with Deborah and Jacob. Ja-
cob’s grandfather, Pete Lewis,
reported Sunday evening that
Jacob is doing real well and
blowing and going like any two
year old. Minnie Lewis has been
in Las Vegas, Nevada this past
week. She left Friday with Bon-
nie Larreau and Harold McGill
from Dell City. Minnie planned to
visit with her sisters and brother
while in Las Vegas. We can look
forward to a full report when she
gets back.
