Washington, Dec. 17.—Everything
possible will be done to trace the dis-
puted Hearst Mexican documents to
their source, Chairman David A.
Reed, republican, Pennsylvania, head
of the senate investigating committee
announced today.
Every cent of appropriated $25,000
will be used and further funds .will be
sought from the senate if necessary
to enable the committee to hire de-
tectives and make an inqury o f its
own, Reed indicated as the commit-
tee opened the third day of its hear-
ings.
