Eggs, butter, milk, and. canned
goods can be kept cool in the ven-
tilated pantry of Miss Lillie Ahrtes,
pantry demonstrator for the Tri-
Commanity Home Demonstration
club. The pantry is located in the
central portion of the house at the
end of a big hail, it is 18 inches
deep, 4 feet wide and 8 feet high.
The floor and ceiling have screened
openings, the ceiling has a metal flue
12 inches in diameter which open*
into the attic, which has an open-
ing to the outside. There are open-
ing* under the house to the out-
side also permitting a free circula-
