STATE WILL WAR
ON BOOTLEGGERS
OF GASOLINE
Austin, March 9.—-Just one more
legislative hurdle to clear, and the
state will be set to open a- war on
gasoline bootleggers calculated to step
tax leaks to the extent of $3,000,000
or more annually.
After hearing a plea by George
Sheppard, state comptroller the senate
