Saturday evening last at the home
of Rev. Claud Gregory, pastor of one
of the Methodist churches in Dallas,
Mr. Thomas Adams of Gainesville
and Miss Fannie Thomas of Dallas
were united in marriage. Rev. Greg-
ory officiating. Only a few close
friends accompanied them to witness
the marriage.
Mr. Adams was once a resident of
this city, but is now a successful at-
torney of Gainesville. Miss Fannie
Thomas is well known in Bonham,
having been reared -and educated
here, and having taght for a num-
ber of years in our city schools. She
went <o Dallas several years ago,
and until recently, when she resigned,
has been teaching in the city schools.
She is a woman of ability and char-
acter, and is worthy the best of
husbands.

pany is a new business opened' in
the city. The new concern occupies
one of the Peeler buildings on West
Fifth street. Announcement in an-
other place will disclose the nature
of the business it will conduct.
Mr. Clotfeltcr, who is head of the
new firm, was connected for years
with the Bowling Produce Company,
and is- an experienced man in the
business.
