a fine record, too, for one pupil had
a perfect paper, one named five
pieces without being able to cite all

All in all, the tests in both •'schools
were well worth the time spent on
them and wil( likely stimulate no lit-
tle the appreciation of good music

Chapman, Fharlces Herndon, Ira Rob-
erts. and Dimple Jared, all of the
seventh grade, and by Gladys Bigger-
staff of the fifth grade. The best
record, as a whole, was made by
the seventh grade, for five pupils
handed in perfect papers, two of the
others named .the ten pieces of music,
without being able, tho, to name in

CHICAGO, Feb. 24.—Harry ’ B.
Scott, street ear motormhh, wanted
to get married yesterday, but he
could not leave his car. He made
an appointment with Judge Clyde
Thomas to meet him at the end of
the line to tie the knot. Judge
Thomas was delayed and Seott could
not wait. -He took his fiancee and
started back on his rum
En route he picked up Justice of
the Peace J. L. Earnest, and carried
him and the girl, Miss Mary Part-
| ridge, to the other end_urf the line,
whore the marriage tercmony was
performed. The happy pair spent
the first day of their honeymoon rid-
ing back grid forth on the car.
