arrested a man for violating a
protective order and assaulting
the mother of his children at a
residence in the 2000 block of
New Mexico Street.
BP Cedar Bayou plant
Although the giant oil company
BP announced last week its idled
Cedar Bayou plant would be part
of a spinoff venture, there are no
immediate' plans for the facility, a
company spokeswoman said.

Man arrested for
assaulting gillfriend
At 3:52 a.m. Monday, police
arrested a man for assaulting
his girlfriend with nunchaku and
throwing her 15-year-old daughter
through a plate glass window.
The man was charged with
felony aggravated assault with a
deadly weapon and class A
assault on a family member.
Automobile accident
results in two arrests
Following an automobile acci-
dent in the 2000 block of Decker
