were: Vice President Leigh Nauert,
Secretary Mike Sloan, Don Cobb,
Jim Astin, Raymond Hollabaugh,
and Farced Hassen. Board Mem-
bers absent were: President Gary
Decker. School Personnel attend-

Elementary had been chosen to
participate in a reading research
project. The results are attached.
She went on to report that the Love
and Logic parent education series
on discipline has been a success
and she thanked Carol Davis for
her hard work on that program.
The Reynolds campus has been
taking practice TAKS tests and
Susan Mueller shared the results
with the Board. Much work is be-
ng done to make sure that the stu-
dents are well prepared for the
tests. A slide show was presented
highlighting the recent Medieval
Festival held at the Reynolds cam-
pus.
Jimmy New stated that the Jr/
Sr High School is still awaiting the
results of the portions of the TAKS
tests that have been completed.

No change
to WTU
service
Information in a recent letter
mailed by TXU to WTU Retail
Energy has spurred a very
significant number of calls to the
WTU Retail Energy customer call
center. Contrary to claims in this
letter, the service provided by WTU
Retail Energy has not changed and
WTU Retail Energy accounts have
not been sold. WTU Retail Energy
continues to provide electricity
service to its custdmers.
“The letter from TXU is
misleading and has caused
confusion among a number of
WTU Retail Energy customers,”
said Don Whaley, WTU Retail
Energy CEO. “We value our
relationship with our customers
and want to be clear that their
service has not, and will not, be
changed.”
