ford Chamber of Commerce Ban-
quet held at the Stage Coach in
Stamford on Thursday evening.
The Buffalo Gals Line Dancers
entertained the group, along with
special awards given to several in-
dividuals.
Approximately one hundred
folks registered at the monthly
musical held at the Community
Center on Saturday evening. There
is so much great talent around in
the Big Country and we are pleased
that so many come out and share
this with many folks. We appreci-
ate everyone that supported our
musical and concession stand, your
help keeps our Center going. Get-
ting the prize for coming the far-
thest were Pat and Linda Quinn
from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Jo Ann
Searcy from Montgomery, Ala-
bama. We also had some folks from
Amarillo and J J and Deloras Davis
from Farmers Branch. The Davises
are former residents of this com-
munity. Door prize winners were
Doris Lehrmann from Rule, and
Tommy Self from Sweetwater. See
all of you next month.
Happy Birthday Wishes go to
Larry Quade, Adeline Roberts,
Dolan Brinson, Shirley Freeman,
Boots Hunt, Steve Lehrmann,
and Jeff are graduates of OGHS.
James and Marilyn Martin and
Harley were in Aspermont on Sun-
day evening where they attended
their grandson, Eli’s birthday party.
Others helping pli celebrate his
sixth birthday were his parents,
Wesley and Jackie Martin, brother,
Ethan, his other grandparente, Billy
John and Jan Harrison from Jayton
and several of Eli’s little friends.
They all enjoyed the cake and
ice cream and all the fun activities.

early Thursday morning for break-
fast and a fun visit.

the Aspermont school, Cordell Tay-
lor, Amanda and Erica Peters,
Aubrey Jo and Justin Westbrook.

gathered at the Lodge Hall on
Thursday afternoon for games and
a brisket supper. In charge of the

Only 14 individuals are selected
from across the State for the All
State Team. She is the daughter of
Dusty and Jimmie Kaye Peters of

Collins) of Haskell and Milton
Schmidt of Austin on their recent
marriage. They both grew up in this
community and attended OGHS.
