It has been a quiet week out here. I recon. Haven’t been here much to tell
one way or another. Judy’s shoulder has been giving her fits. So, we have
been going to San Angelo regular to get her massage.
We went to Kingsland for a birthday party for a little girl. I think it is a great
grand daughter of a friend. It was well attended and we all had a good time.
I think that Judy and I were the only couple there that was not holding a 1
year old or was “with child” . One lady is going to have triplets. She is an
unbelivable size . She has carried the for 27 'A weeks now and the doctor
may take them soon. I have never seen anything like that in my life. Long
drive there and back but I enjoyed it. Saw a lot of deer. The country side
is as dry there as it is here. Went over to see Lake Buchanan. Nice to see
that much water exist still.
Judy’s son John and grandson Blake are here to help us on cleaning out that
burned out house in Ballinger. It is down to sifting ashes through a screen
to find things. Actually, we have found a number of valuable things that the
thieves missed. We hope to finish that up pretty soon now. Could not have
done it with out the extra help. Trying to get a handle on how much clothes
and shoes were burned. Get an inventory on iceboxs, washer, dryer, oven
and a lot of clothes that were new and never used and still had the price tag
on them.
And so it goes in our quiet little comer of Coleman County
Talpa Bob
Maureen and HM enjoyed a cook out at Bob Turner’s on Friday evening.
And then the last Bible study for a while with Jim Wahl at the Voss Baptists
church, on Friday night.
I continue to struggle with the learning curve on this new computer and win-
dows 10.
