A number of ladies representing
the different clubs of our town met
Tuesday morning of last week at the
I home of Mt Dysart for the purpose
of organizing a County Federation
and elect officer- for same. This will
include not only the clubs of our
home town, but all clubs and orgnai-
zations throughout the county. We
are expecting to achieve great won-
der* with this kind of an organiza-
tion not only will it get our women
in clo e relationship with each other,
but in various things are we planning
to make this worth while, especially
o along educational line-. Through
this club we are putting on a contest
that will be of interest to any gir! or
boy in our county that is really in-
terested in getting an education to
write a paper on “what is the stu-
dent’- problem" which will be judged
about July 5th, then -ent t» Temple
for the final contest later. Should
■ io <>f <>ur boys or girls from this
county win, the State donates so
■ much on their college course at any
-chool they prefer and it is our bo-
i ject to help them get through this-
i college Any per*on past the sev-
enth gra.ie i eligible. For particu-
lar- you can phone or write Mrs. L.
E. Gribble.
Our next meeting will be at the
court house Wednesday morning,
May 24th at 10 o'clock, and we urge
every woman in town and throughout
the country that can possibly’ do so to
be pre-ent at this.meeting. You not
only owe it to yourself but to your
childrer: and community,
