When you buy a cream separator you want th«
best machine you can get for the money, don’t you?
Well, then, just listen to this proposition:
Before you order a “mail order” separator write
to the concern and tell them that you want to try
their machine out against a De Laval, with the priv-
ilege of sending their machine back if you decide
that the De Laval is better worth what we ask you
for it than their machine is worth what they ask.
That’s absolutely fair, isn’t it?
We’ll be glad to furnish you a De Laval for such
a trial any time you like and let you be the judge.
We are glad to make this offer because we
know that the De Laval will give you better
service and cost you less in the long run than
any other machine you can buy, no matter
what the price.
If you already have a mail order
separator, or any other for that mat-
ter, which isn’t giving satisfaction,
we have an exchange offer that
we believe will interest you.
Before you buy a Cream
Separator see and try a
Postmaster General Burleson
is anxious to have the Democratic
convention of Texas endorse the
administration of President Wil-
son. We don’t see how it could
be consistently done if the Ball
forces control. Mr. Wilson is
opposed to prohibition as a polit-
ical question, hence in the esti-
mate of the Ball prohibitionists a
tool of the liquor interests; and
the Ball antis. Joe Bailey, John-
ston, Ousley and the other col-
onels opposed him as a socialist,
populist, demagogue and every-
thing else they considered des-
picable. Eliminating these two
classes of Ball supporters; it
would seem that Wilson has slim
prospects of endorsement if the
Ball forces control the conven-
tion.

The Farmers’ Union is asking
the Legislature to throw a life-
line to the tenant farmer and all
farmers are invited to join the
Union and avail tlfemselves of the
advantages of organization. We
have adopted a platform declar-
ing the problems of the farmer to
be the paramount issue in this
campaign and we have made pub-
lic a*list of candidates pledged to
give the interests of the ’tenant
farmer first attention. All that is
necessary is for the farmers to
stand by the Union. Let us give
a long pull, a strong pull and a
pull a.1' together by voting for Sal-
ly mid the babies.
In our next article we will in-
vite the city men to come “Back
To The Soil” with their votes.

Colonel Ball wants to lend the
Texas school fund to the tenant
farmers of Texas to buy John H.
Kirby’s pine barrens with. The
school fund divided among all
Texas tenants would give them
about $5.00 each, enough to buy
