around the Interstate 10 and North
Main intersection.
Lt. Steve Dorris, Baytown police
spokesman, said that they received
a total of 10 calls needing assistance
due to the flooding. While most of
the calls were vehicles stranded be-
cause of the floods, there was one
report of a house being flooded on
Booker Street near North Highway
146 in the Lincoln Cedar neighbor-
hood.

has reported runoff filling storm
drains and producing overflows in
the city’s sanitary sewer system. As
of 10:40 p.m., March 29:

an armed robbery that hap-
pened around 7 p.m. Wednes-
day. Officers interviewed the
clerk who said that a man,
wearing all black, entered the
store, displayed a handgun

from the register. The suspect
then jumped over the count-
er and placed all the money

bag. Then, he made the em-
