chapter held their annual stock
show Sunday at the Hockley
County Fairgrounds.
Kayla Roberson showed the
Grand Champion animal, a Cross,
in the Hog Show.
Kelsi Edens had the Reserve
Champion, a White OPB.

Queen last Wednesday night. She represented the Whitharral 4-H
Club and has been involved in the 4-H program for the past seven

honors Wednesday when he
exhibited the Grand Champion
Goat during last week's annual
Stock Show. here.
Taylor, a member of the
Smyer FFA, also won the Senior
Showmanship buckle during the
competition.
Ropes FFA member Taylor
Green had the Reserve Grand
Champion animal. She also
earned the Junior Showmanship
award.

daughter of Sammy and Marilyn

Chelsea Sherrill, the 15-year-old
daughter of Ricky and Tammy

Wednesday night, the
Hockley County 4-H Princesses
were introduced and the 2005
Livestock Show Queen was
announced
This year’s stock show queen
is Katherine Albus, the 15-year-
old daughter of David and Karol
Albus, is a member and president
of the Whitharral 4-H. She
received a bouquet of flowers
from the Hockley County Adult
Leaders Association and a 4-H
Clover bracelet with 2005
Hockley County 4-H Queen
engraved on the back.
She is also the Whitharral 4-H
Princess. She is a freshman at
Whitharral High School and has
been involved in the 4-H program
for seven years. She has been
involved in food and nutrition,
clothing and textiles, gardening,
housing and home environment,
family life and safety. She has
won numerous awards with her
projects including placing in the
food show, clothing, method
demonstration and Bronze and
Silver Star Awards. She is also
involved in UIL, basketball,
debate and track.
The 2004 Hockley County
Stock Show Queen Berry
Andrews, introduced the 12 4-H
Princesses and five FFA
Sweethearts. Both the princess
and sweethearts assisted
throughout the show and sale.
