held at 10:20 a.m.
A contemporary Easter
worship service will be held at 11

There will be no evening
activities this Sunday only.

Robert and Sharon Vaughan are pleased to announce the
engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Tara S.
Vaughan, to Mr. Jonathan K. Dudley, son of Ricky and Jeanettia
Dudley.
Tara is the granddaughter of Earl and June Gerstenberger, RC and
Eva Vaughan and Bobbie Skipworth, all of Levelland. Jonathan is the
grandson of Betty Hackler of Olton, and the late Bruce Hackler and
Denny and Betty Dudley of Seagraves.
The prospective bride is a 2002 graduate of Levelland High
School. She will graduate from South Plains College in May 2005 and
will attend Texas Tech University in the fall. She plans to major in
Physical Education and minor in Human Development. She is
currently employed at First Convenience Bank in Levelland.
Jonathan is a 2000 graduate of Levelland High School. He is
attending South Plains College with plans to complete a degree in
Agricultural Finance and a minor in Agricultural Economics at Texas
Tech University. He is currently employed with Rawls Equipment in
Level land.
The couple plans a July 16, 2005 wedding at the First United
Methodist Church in Levelland.

Local church hosts special Easter services
The Ridgecrest Missionary Brother Sylvan Cargile There
Baptist Church will be having ‘
special services on Easter
Sunday.
They will begin with a
sunrise service at 6:40 a m. The
men’s brotherhood will then
serve breakfast
The regular Sunday morning
schedule will then be followed.
Sunday morning Bible classes
will begin at 10 a.m., followed by
the morning message by pastor
Be the successful candidate during “The Youth Tour
Interview'* and you could win an all-expense paid trip to
Washington D.C. The trip is June 16-25,2005. Two winners
& an alternate will be selected.
ELIGIBILITY: You must be classified as a sophomore,
junior, or senior at one of the following schools: Amherst, Anton,
Levelland, Littlefield, Olton, Spade, Sudan, Whiteface, or Whitharral
Or, your parent or guardian must be a member of Lamb County
Electric Cooperative. (Forms may be picked up at these schools or LCEC.)
CONTEST RULES:
• Participants will be required to appear before an independent
panel of judges prepared to discuss different topics. (Listed on
entry forms.)
• Participants will have 5 - 7 minutes of interview time.
• Judges will have the opportunity to ask questions (hint: know
and understand cooperatives)
JUDGING: Winners will be chosen on how well they “present
themselves* in an interview setting by answering the four questions
listed above

The couple will marry April 9’’’ at the Royal Bahamian beach,
