assigned as a judge in the
Queen’s Race in the final con-
test of the 1952 rodeo. McCre-
less has been assigned duties
with the arena staff.
While here they visited the
arena, inspecting the many im-
provements installed since the
1951 show. They were guests
of Supt. .Claude Mullins, Alton
Allen, Leon Kahannek and Pete
McKenzie. _
A new trophy will- be award-
ed in the June 19-21 competi-
tion this year, the sixth state
elimination contest. This tro-
phy will go to the high school
'accumulating the most -points
during the show.
As in a state track meet, it
is possible that on? contestant
may win sufficient points to
earn the trophy for his school,
but,. Supt. Mullins said, it is
more likely that a balanced team
will claim the award.

chicken barbecue dinner, pre-
