I. H. Kempner, III July 21, 1965 KEYS Meeting In answer to your letter of J uy 13th on the subject of the KEYS meeting scheduled for July 23rd, practically all of us here doubt that the importance of my presence to the meeting, dealing with procedure and prospects of the Sugar Company, really requires my attendance. On the other hald, I feel that I would learn much that might be helpful as we continue the rractices and policies of Imperial Sugar. After a conversation with Bob Armstrong, I beg to advise that unless you hear from us to the contrary, Mummum and I hope to leave here in time to arrive at the Riverbend Country Club at 12 o'clock or a minimum of minutes there- after. We can take lunch at the club with others and stay long enough to go over any matters that may be ,resented for discussion. We then would return home, therefore not going to any afternoon session or con- ference. umnmum feels - and I fear I must approve her opinion - that a reasonable plan such as the above will permit the ratification of my wish to be able to reet those of you I. .
