Disturbed
1 * •
Editor, South Belt Press;
I am very disturbed to see that the
United Sports Association is sponsor-
ing a rock concert.
In recent times, we have ail be-
come aware of the bad publicity sur-
rounding these events. Rock concerts,
in themselves, are not bad, but they
attract drug users and pushers, and
because of the size of the crowds, law
enforcement is negligible.
Most parents in Sagemont are con-
cerned about the youth involvement
wth drugs and. alcohol in our com-
munity.
Why does the U.S.A., who pro-
motes such wholesome pastimes as
baseball, football, and soccer want to
introduce into our community some-
thing that could easily corrupt our
young people?
This seems to be such » “cheap
trick” to raise money for a worth-
while organization!
