fic Lines in keeping with their poli-
cy of improving the property as ne-
cessity justifies. . •

Safford. There is being put on the
Gulf Coast Lines this year about
350,000 yards of ballast, 75 miles of
new 90 pound rail, and heavier sec-
tions jof^ rail are being laid on both
the San Benito & Rio Grande Rail-
road and Mission line of the Gulf
Coast Lines. The ballasts being ins-
talled includes the Mission line as
