The Woman’s Auxiliary of the
Presbyterian Church met Tuesday af-
ternoon in the home of Mrs. H. P.
Millican.
rfrs. W. C. Gillen, president, called
the meeting to order. The members
repeated the Lord's prayer in unison.
Twelve members answered roll call
with verses of Scripture. The min-
utes of the last meeting were read
and approved.

Thursday and Friday mornings will
conclude the series of messages on
"The Spirit's Message to the Church-
es" given by Dr. Shirar at the Bap-
tist Revival. This is a series on the
church letters given in the second
and third chapters in the Book of
Revelation.
The subject tonight is "Turn About
is Fair Play.”
Other subjects announced are:
Thursday night, “Scarlet Sins Made
White.” Friday night, “Where Art
Thou?/’ Saturday night, “Christ Shut
Out.” Sunday morning, “New Alibis
and Old Excuses.” Sunday night, “Th*
Only Way of Escape.”
The revival is growing in power
and influence and people are uniting
with the church. One or more have
joined each day this week. Two young
people joined last night and will be
baptized at the dose of the meeting.
There were twelve professions of
faith Sunday, many of which will
come into the church by Sunday.
Baptists are trying to get 300 in
Sunday school next Sunday. Every
one in town should be in Sunday school

PUPPET SHOW COMING
The Morrey-Towse Dental Health
Puppet Show will be given in three
of the schools of Lampasas County,
March 81, by the State Health De-
partment, with the cooperation of the
State Department of Education and
the Good Teeth Council for Children,
of Chicago. This piece of visual health
education has been arranged under
the approval of nationally known
leaders in the fields of dentistry, med-
icine, and elementary education. It is
dramatized with music, voice and
humor, bringing out four fundamen-
tal points in dental health in such a
Way that it is net only entertaining,
but makes lasting'impressions on the
minds of the school children as to
the value of dental health. It is pre-
sented by Wilson R. Cronenwett and
Miss Ruth Snow, both of whom are
highly trained, in dramatics and pup-
petry.
The plot of the story concerns the
trials and tribulations of Little Jack
who could not go o the circus with
his sister, Joan, because he had tooth-
ache. Through the cooperation of his
mother and the friendly family den-

with her as delegates to the Presby-
terian meeting in Waeo, April 18 and
19. Mrs. Gillen and Mrs. Millican read
two interesting letters relative to the
missionary work among the Indians
in Arizona.
Mrs. Shaw Norris reported twelve
subscriptions to Women and Missions
had been sent in. Mrs. Charles Wa-
chendorfer suggested that we bring
our donations for Reynolds Home to
her house where the box can be pack-
ed. This Is our regular Easter offer-
ing, but if possible we want to have
it ready to send by the 6th of April.
Mrs. Otto Rath man conducted the
Bible study on latter part of the
book of Joshua. The meeting was then
adjourned with a prayer by Mrs. Gil-

dental disease affects the general
health of the body, as well as that
of the mouth; he is told of the im-
portance of the right foods, exercise,
home care and dental care.
The supporting cast in addition to
the dentist, Jack’s mother, and sis-
ter, Joan, are Toni, the fruit ped-
dler; the milkman; Toni’s son; and
Jocko, the monkey.
The show was given last year in
approximately forty counties of Tex-
as to some four hundred thousand
pupils, teachers and parents, and is
scheduled to cover an even larger
portion, of the State this year! It has
been shown to several million chil-
dren in other parts of the United
States, and both pupils and teachers
are loud in their acclaim of its value,
While the show is arranged to fit
Tnto the forty-minute school period
and primarily for elementary school
children, parents are invited to see
it with the children and teachers. It
is considered one of the best visual
education projects ever presented in
Texas.
