FLAT TIRE LAST STRAW
A Sagemeadow family has been considering the
purchase of a new car for several months now.
They have mentioned it several times but never got
very far past the discussion stage until last week-
end. The wife, who shall remain nameless, reported
to her husband that the front tires were tread-bare
and in the interest of safety she felt that the car
needed two new tires. Her husband reminded her
that they needed a new car anyway so there would
be no need in purchasing new tires. Last week, after
changing a flat on the right front tire, husband,
T. H. was heard to mutter that the spare would
hold for awhile. On Thursday, the left front tire
went flat and within four hours the right front
“spare” tire also went flat. It is reported that early
Friday morning T. H. and family headed for a near-
by auto dealership and purchased a brand new auto-
mobile that was sitting on the show room floor. The
family has a new Easter egg blue car sitting on the
driveway and the tires look like they are in great
shape. Thank you, T. H., from your loving wife!
CLINT HAYGOOD IS FOUR!

and friends and was guest of honor at his first real
birthday party. His Aunt Laura and Uncle Milton
Kellner and cousins Marty and Leslie attended the
party. Children in the neighborhood who were in-
vited included Jay Kneisler, Billy Mathison, Rusty
Meyers, Stephanie Reed, Debbie Stephens, Nicholas
Turner, Christy Williams, Susan Richter, Michael
Hood, and Jeff Fountain. Also attending was his
brother, Brad. Clint was delighted with the party
and everyone else seemed to have a great time, too!
