missionary's from Chino
spoke Sunday, November
11, 2007 at the Presbyterian
Church at Old Tennessee.
They told about many inter-
esting things about their mis-
sion. The members of the
church had refreshments
which all enjoyed.
Afterward they visited Mae
and Jane Gray. Also visiting
in the home Sunday after
noon were Ms. Monson
Reed, Mike and Vicki
Patrick from Carthage. They
all enjoyed being together.
Betty McGee, from
Lufkin, visited Thursday
with her mother Mrs. Opal
Vaughn and Billy Anderson 1
saw them at the beauty shop.
That w as the first time I had
seen Betty in a long time and
I was happy to visit with her
and Opal.
Frazier and Kay Kennedy,
from Little Rock, AR, visit-
ed during last week with her
father Earl Cariker. They
were enroute to Dallas to
visit their son Michael, who
is employed there.
A large crowd was at
down town Gary Saturday
night to see the beautiful
Christmas lights, so many
helped out with them. Wish
everyone could have seen
them.
Venita Judice and
Benjamin were in
Henderson last Saturday for
their fall festival.
Kirk and Jennifer Gautier,
of Tyler, are happy to
announce the arrival of
Brooklyn Gene, born
Monday, November 12,
2007 at a Tyler Hospital. She
Wendi and David exchange vows
Wendi Cariker and David Wolfe, of Henderson,
were united in marriage on October 13, 2007 at 4 p.m.
(■iving the bride away were her parents, in the double-
ring ceremony that took place at the First Baptist
Church in Henderson.
The bride is the daughter of Kenneth and Kyra
Cariker, of Henderson. The groom is the son of Mary
Sue Wolfe and the late Jack G. Wolfe, of Henderson.
The bridal gown was ivory "candlelight" in satin.
The strapless gown was A-line with embroidering and
crystal beading accentuating the gown. The back of
the gown featured buttons with a chapel length train
that was accented with embroidering and crystal
beading.
The bridesmaids wore gowns of chocolate that fea-
tured off-shouldered lace bodices with full, floor
length satin skirts.
The groom and groomsmen wore Calvin Klein two-
button black tuxedos. The groom's tuxedo was accent-
ed w ith an ivory vest and tie, while the groomsmen and
ushers wore Chocolate colored vests and ties.
The bride and groom participated in a candle cere-
mony in memory of the bride's mother, Patricia
Cariker and the groom's father, Jack Wolfe. Also, dur-
ing the wedding ceremony, Wendi and David lit the
unity candle as the song "Perhaps Love' was sung by
Ruthie Vinson.
The reception was held at First Baptist's Family
Life Center. The guests were offered a buffet of hot
and cold hors d'oeuvres of shrimp, pork loin, meat
pies, various meats, cheeses and fruits.
The groom's mother hosted an elegant rehearsal
dinner with family and friends of the wedding couple
at Johnny Case's of Longview.
After the couples honeymoon to Athens and
Santorini, Greece, they will make their home in
Henderson.

Couple plans to wed
Cheri Jamison, of Carthage, and Mike and Diana
Jamison, of Dallas, are pleased to announce the
engagement of their daughter, Courtney Nicole
Jamison to Michael F. Travis Dyer, son of Floyd
and Margaret Dyer, of Beckville. Courtney is a
2000 gradate of Frisco High School. She attend-
ed the Toni and Guy Hair Academy and graduat-
ed in 2002. She is a hairstylist at the Grand Salon
in Carthage. Travis is a 1998 graduate of
Beckvil’e High School and a member of the
'Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2003' where he
received a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial
Distribution. He is employed with Samson
resources in Kilgore. The couple will be wed on
March 29, 2008 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in
Carthage. A reception will follow at the Alamo
Social Club in Carthage. After their honeymoon
trip they will make their home in Carthage.

17, 2007. Kaden was excited over his first kill and thankful
his Uncle Mitch let him hunt from his deer stand. Kaden is
the son of Eric and Nicole Holcomb, of Carthage.
