Along with jewelry, home decor, clothing and other gifts, many vendors were selling their
homemade treats at the 32nd annual Fort Hood Officers’ Spouses’ Club Holiday Bazaar, held
Saturday and Sunday at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center. Most of the food being sold
at the event was appropriate for the Christmas season, but some vendors were selling year-
round treats alongside their holiday specialties.

Jewelry, home decor and clothing were popular items being sold at the 32nd annual Fort Hood Officers’ Spouses’ Club Holiday Bazaar, held Saturday and Sunday at the Killeen Civic and
Conference Center. Thousands of shoppers from Fort Hood and the surrounding communities filtered in throughout the weekend to check out the bazaar over the two-day period. One-of-a-
kind gifts were avaiable from wall to wall at the bazaar, including holiday treats like nuts, jams and jellies.
Many vendors at the 32nd annual Fort Hood Officers’ Spouses’
Club Holiday Bazaar were selling their handmade pottery -
much of it Fort Hood- or Texas-themed.

The Fort Hood Officers’
Spouses’ Club hosted their
32nd annual holiday bazaar
at the Killeen Civic and
Conference Center Satur-
day and Sunday.
More than 100 vendors
showed up to offer Fort
Hood and the surrounding
communities access to their
individualized items for
sale - from arts and crafts
vendors to homemade holi-
day sweets, the bazaar had
it all.
Food trucks and door
prizes were also available
at the bazaar, providing
the vendors and shoppers a
meal so they wouldn’t have
to leave during the day-
long event, both days.
Santa Claus himself also
showed up to the bazaar on
Saturday, to take wish lists
from children and profes-
sional photos for interested
Families.
This year, most of the
vendors accepted credit
cars at the event, making it
much more convenient for
shoppers and vendors, with
the easy access to pay.

gifts for their loved ones
this holiday season, which
many of the vendors were
encouraging.
Vendors selling all kinds
of jewelry, treats, clothing,
home decor, candles, pot-
tery, lawn decor, jams and
jellies, gadgets and other
special items turned out to
the bazaar - something for
everyone, every age could
be found.
Baked goods were also
provided at the event,
thanks to the Fort Hood
Area Enlisted Spouses
Club.
At the end of the week-
end, thousands of people
around the community had

shown up to check out and
shop at this year’s holiday
bazaar.
One thing the OSC was
excited about at this year’s
event was an opportunity
they provided for the first
150 ticketed shoppers to
have a chance to win a door
prize and another oppor-
tunity to win a handmade
Christmas quilt.
Planning for next year’s
33rd annual holiday bazaar
begins soon, and the OSC
hopes to have even more
chances for shoppers to win
prizes while they search for
the perfect gift - whether
for themselves or a loved
one.
