Former Teacher,
Dies At Wichita
Funeral services were held Mon-
day afternoon at Wichita Falls
for Miss Sudie Hall, a native of
Ringgold and a former school
teacher in Belcherville, Saint Jd
and Stoneburg.
Rev. James H. Landes of First
Baptist church of Wichita Falls,
of which Miss Hall was a mem-
ber, officiated and burial was in
Ringgold cemetery.
Miss Hall was born May 7. 1894
in Ringgold. She moved to Wichi-
ta Falls in 1920. Since then she
had been a clerk in the county
tax office and credit manager for
the Grady England Finance comp-
any.
Survivors are four brothers, J.
E„ E. C., Dr. J. D. and D. E. Hall
of Wichita Falls.
George Parks’ Visit
Here Is Cut Short
En route home from a vacation
trip through Virginia, Rev. George
Park, former pastor of First Bap-
tist church, and Mrs. Park, ar-
rived here this week for a visit
with the W. L. Scotts, but their
visit was cut short upon arrival
when Rev. Park received a tele-
phone call that his father, George
M. Park, was seriously ill at his
home in Albuquerque. The Parks
left at once for the New Mexico
city.
Finis E. Davis of Louisville,
Kentucky, was elected Interna-
tional President of Lions Inter-
national at the Association's 43rd
Guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. O.
Mills last week were Mr. and Mrs.
W. M. Pitman and Pam of Atlanta,
Texas. Week end guests were their
children. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Mills
and children of Electra. Terri and
Tom remained for a week’s visit
with their grandparents.
Mrs. W. D. Hearn accompanied
by her grandson, Clifford Keen
Berry, went by plane to his home
in Albuquerque Friday. Clifford
had been visiting his grandpar-
ents.
Bob Martin of Fort Worth was
the guest of his brother and sis-
ter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank
Martin, last week.

Mrs. C. H. (Clora) Ferrell ,50,
sister of Howard Morris, an as-
sociate of Scott Bros., died last
Sunday at Fort Worth after an
illness of six years.
Rites were held Wednesday
morning at the Robertson-Mueller-
Harper chapel at Fort Worth with
Revs. T. C. Durham and E. A.
Moore officiating. Interment was
in Mount Olive cemetery in Fort
Worth.
Mrs. Ferrell was born Septem-
ber 21, 1909. the daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. J. J. Morris, who survive.
Surviving with the parents and
her Nocona brother are her hus-
band, C. H. Ferrell; one sister,
Mrs. O. B. Heavin of Fort Worth,
and four other brothers, R. H. of
Fort Worth; J. A. of Norfolk, Va.,
W. O. of San Diego, Calif., and
O. W. Morris of Hamilton, Ill.
