Hubert Robinson of the Sunnylane
community died Sunday afternoon at
about 6:30. He was apparently in
K pood health and had gone to the barn
to feed the stock. Some time later
M he was missed and was found dead,
A i apparently from a heart attack.
The deceased was 69 years of age
and had lived for some time on the

group of guests enjoyed a delightful
Christmas party at the home of Mrs.
F. J. Harris Friday afternoon. Fes-
tive Christmas decorations greeted
the guests and did their part in arous-
ing the holiday spirit of friendliness
and good cheer.
Mrs. Ben Peak greeted members and
welcomed the guests in behalf of the
dub. Mrs. Paul Nichols then took
charge of the program and called on
Mrs. W. F. Mace foi; a message from
the Federated News by the new state
president In keeping with the time
of year, her message was of “peace
on earth, kfood will to all men.”
Miss Beatrice Casbeer played a
medley of the three Christmas num-
bers “Silent Night, Holy Night,"
“Song in the Air," and “It Came Upon
a Midnight Clear.” y .
Mrs. Nichols reviewed a Texas
miracle play “Los Pastores” which
is given in San Antonio each year
on December 16 and each succeeding
day until Christmas. This drama
deals with the travel of the shep-
herds to the jpanger and the adversi-
ties that beseVand hindered them on
the journey.
“Christmas Thoughts” were given
by Mrs. Ferd Matthews. She began
with the birth of the Christ child as
told by Luke and then went on to
quote lines of famous Christmas
poems as written by Shakespeare,! December pensions.
