The boys have been playing
several non-conference basket-

the last week. The conference
games will begin the eighth of
this month. Leonard has a
tough schedule ahead of them,
but under the leadership of
Coach Thad Murley, the Tigers
are expected to turn up with a

In the Traffic Range you have, tremendous
acceleration and snap and go! At the touch
of a finger you can be in the Cruising Range,
riding so smoothly, economically and effort-

I suppose everyone
like to catch up on the news of
the L. H. S. Tigerettes.
The Leonard Tigerettes went
to Savoy Monday night, Dec-
ember 31, and the final score-
was in Leonard’s favor. Then
on Tuesday night we started the
new year off right by playing
the Celeste girls in the Leonard
Gym and winning with scores
of 27-17. Peggy Hooks was high
point girl. Again on Thursday
night we played Whitewright
here with the- scores 24-16 in
our favor. Emma Jones was
high point girl.
If I am not mistaken the
Leonard boys are getting along
okay, too.
Good luck, gang!
Hooks was glad that
was playing Celeste,
got to see
course!
The Leonard football boys re-
ceived their football jackets on
Christmas Eve night. The gab-
ardine jackets are reversible
and semi-water repellent. One
side of the jacket is solid gold,
trimmed in blue, while the other
side is blue, trimmed in- gold
with a gold stripe down the
sleeves. The jackets are waist
type with knit bottom
cuffs.
