M University is the wife of Dr. L.D.
Eckermann of Houston, and
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.W.
Oppermann of Bellville. She has

Faye Talley of Rt. 2, New Ulm were
held Saturday, June 2, IMO at 2:00
pm. from the Industry United
Methodist Church with Rev. Milton
Koonce officiating.
Interment was in the church
cemetery.
Mrs. Talley passed away
Thursday, May 31, at her residence.

Mrs. Schramm passed
Saturday, May 30 at her residence.
She was 72 years of age.
Bom July 15,1917 in Nelsonville,
she was the daughter of Frank and
Annie Wacusek. She married Hugo
Schramm September 18, 1937 at
New Ulm and was a member of
Bethlehem Lutheran Church in
Round Top.
Survivors include her husband,
Hugo Schramm of Haw Creek; son,
Marvin Schramm of Houston;
sisters, Olga Ashom and Tonnie
Janacek, both of Industry and Dora
Wilke of Wallis; sister-in-law, Delta
Schramm of Houston.
She was preceded in death by a
son, Melvin, in 1971, one brother
and four sisters.

night, June 9, from 8 to 12, featuring
music by Four on the Floor.
The event will benefit the Christy
Gully family, as Christy was
injured in an automobile accident
recently.

and Mrs. Julia Mesik of Weimar;
half-sister, Kally Frances Kapel of
EUinger; aunts and uncles, Halissa
and Gary Toddy, Marllece and
Ardene Pondk, Donna and Larry
Vanicek, Linda and Warren Brettin
and Carol Colbert; and numerous
cousins.
Pallbearers were Johnny
Weeber, George Migle, Wesley
Jasek and Darry Meyer. Honorary
pallbearers were Gary Weaver and
Danny Kautz.

Born March 4, 1911 at Lytle,
Texas, she was the daughter of
Robert and Ida (Baxter) White. She
married Harry Talley May 8, 1935
at Houston and became a
housewife. She had been a resident
of the New Ulm area for some 10
years.
Her husband preceded her in
death in 1986.
Survivors include her daughter,
Cheryl Tania DeSpain of Industry;
a niece, Sharon Ballew of
Channelview; and a nephew, E. V.
White, Jr. of Beaumont
In addition to her husband, she
was also preceded in death by her
parents and four brothers.
Pallbearers were Alton Schmidt,
David Lamar, Stanley Jozwiak,
James Templeton, Walter Ballew
and Melvin Spiess.
Zaskoda Chapel of Industry and
Koenig-Peel Funeral Home of La
Grange were in charge
